Dakota Johnson stars as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic and psychic who becomes Madame Web after a mysterious encounter. The film is directed by S. J. Clarkson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Claire Parker, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, from a story by Kerem Sanga, Sazama, and Sharpless. It also stars Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, and Tahar Rahim. Madame Web is scheduled to be released on February 14, 2024, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024)
The beloved animated franchise returns for its fourth installment, following the adventures of Po, the Dragon Warrior, and his friends in ancient China. Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, and Jackie Chan reprise their voice roles, along with newcomers Awkwafina and Cameron Green. The film is directed by Mike Mitchell and Stephanie Stine, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)
The highly anticipated prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) focuses on the origin story of the renegade warrior Furiosa, played by Anya Taylor-Joy. The film is directed by George Miller, who co-wrote it with Nico Lathouris. It also stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Alyla Browne, and William H. Macy. The film follows Furiosa as she is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and into the hands of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus, while two Tyrants war for dominance over the Citadel. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024)
The fourth film in the Planet of the Apes reboot series is set many years after the events of War for the Planet of the Apes (2017). Owen Teague stars as Noa, a young chimpanzee who embarks on a journey to find freedom, along with a young human named Mae (Freya Allan). The film is directed by Wes Ball, who co-wrote it with Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Patrick Aison. It also stars Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, and William H. Macy. The film explores the emergence of ape civilizations and the regression of humans, as well as the legacy of Caesar. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is scheduled to be released on May 24, 2024.
